Jelajahi Taman Budaya Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) yang indah, rumah bagi patung GWK yang menakjubkan! Berkeliaran di taman besar dan kagumi keindahan salah satu ikon budaya paling populer di Bali.

Di sini, Anda dapat menyaksikan patung Dewa Wisnu mengendarai burung mitos Garuda, sebuah mahakarya yang memakan waktu 28 tahun perjalanan menuju penyelesaiannya. Gagasan itu muncul di benak seniman besar I Nyoman Nuarta pada tahun 1989, direalisasikan pada tahun 1997 dan akhirnya selesai pada tahun 2018. Bersama dengan tim artis, mereka akhirnya menempatkan modul terakhir patung dari 754 modul! Sekarang, Anda dapat melihat patung setinggi 121 meter yang berdiri dikelilingi oleh pemandangan yang indah hanya dengan tiket. Welcome to Bali!: The beauty of the Balinese dance lies in the complexity of the gestures of fingers, hands, head, feet, and eyes. The Balinese dances are extremely dynamic, angular and intensely expressive, all the movements are very elegant. In this first chapter of Balinese Cultural performance, you will be presented with a beautiful Sekar Jepun dance. Sekar Jepun is a form of welcoming dance, performed by a group of female dancers, dressed in yellow traditional attire. Along with Sekar Jepun dance, you will enjoy Kebyar Duduk dance; which mentioned as one of the most difficult dance, continued with the funny Topeng Monyer dance.

The Enchanting Beauty: In this second chapter of our Balinese Cultural Performance, you will be brought to enjoy the enchanting beauty of Oleg Tamulilingan dance and Jauk Keras dance. Oleg Tamulilingan tells the analogical story about a honey bee that flew surrounding a beautiful flower. See how the sneaky act of the honey bee trying to tease the bright yellow flower. On the next round, Jauk Keras dance depicts a tale about ancient king who rule his kingdom with fierce. The stiffness of his moves tried to tell us how brave he is to fight his enemy.

The Colours of Bali: In this third chapter, you will experience various colours of Bali through the beauty of dances and traditional attire. Sekar Jepun dance will perform to open the first round in this third chapter. The colourful dancers, dressed in yellow and pink attire moves along the gamelan rhythm. Jauk Manis dance came in second, with it’s interactive moves. Get ready to be surprised and don’t shy to join with our interactive dancer. To close the third chapter, the famous Kebyar Duduk will perform in a group of three. The dance performed mostly in sitting position, which made the difficulty level harder. You will see the reason why Kebyar Duduk dance is so enchanting yet magnificent at the same time.

The Enchanting Beauty: The fourth chapter will amaze you! This time you will be the part of the show. Topeng Monyer dance is here to cheer your day. See how he moves along with the rhytmic melody. Don’t be alarmed if suddenly he will point his finger on you and ask you to join his dance on stage. At the end of the session, you will be invited to play “angklung” a traditional bamboo musical instrument. All you have to do is shake the “angklung” in the right time. So, are you ready to join the fun? We hope you do!

The Mythical Moves: The Fifth Chapter of our Bali’s Cultural Performances present the stunning Barong Dance, Oleg Tamulilingan dance and Jauk Manis dance. Barong known as a mythical creature in Balinese Hindu. It represent in a form of lion, with golden hairs and ornamented with golden crown. The dance depict the natural way of Barong living in the deep jungle of Bali, playing with a naughty little monkey. Oleg Tamulilingan and Jauk Manis dance will close the fifth chapter with its beauty and mesmerising moves.

Rhythm of The Roots: Joged Bumbung is a traditional dance that came from Balinese farmer’s custom in ancient time. The dance usually performs after harvesting time. While they’re unwinding themselves, some of the girls take the stage to dance along the rhythm that created from “rindik“. Rindik itself is a traditional bamboo instrument, like gamelan. Some believes that rindik is a peasant kind of gamelan. Joged Bumbung has survived the time, and now adopted into interactive dance, which allowing the audience to join with the dancers. Some funny moves, sneaky gimmicks sometimes inserted into the dance. Are you dare enough to join the dance?

The First Collaboration of Kecak Dance and Ogoh-ogoh: Kecak Garuda Wisnu Kencana is one of a kind kecak dance that specifically created for GWK Cultural Park. The collosal dance performance is a collaboration of the famous kecak dance with Ogoh-ogoh; a gigantic puppet representing mythical creature of Garuda. The story of Kecak Garuda Wisnu Kencana taken from Mahabarata tale, telling the journey of the bird like creature; Garuda, seeking for Tirta Amerta (the holy elixir of divinity) to freed his mother from cruel slavery. God Wisnu (Vishnu), the one who holds Tirta Amerta was touched by Garuda’s sincerity. He agreed to help Garuda, but in return Garuda will serve Him as his trusted rides. Here you will be presented with not only the magical of kecak dance, but also the coreography, and of course the magnificent Ogoh-ogoh Garuda. This is the one and only, Kecak Garuda Wisnu Kencana.
